MatSolo represents Matelec's latest stride towards a sustainable future. Our expertise in low voltage electrical products has now converged with cutting-edge solar solutions, opening up new horizons in energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.

Our Brains

Heading the division and change at MatSolo are Lindsay Bam (B.Eng. Electrical (Hons.)) and Sam Hancock (B.Acc (Hons.), CA(SA).  Both have a passion for renewable energy and love the technological advancement within the industry. With a wealth of experience and an enthusiasm to continually learn and stay abreast of the industry's latest developments, they bring a dynamic approach to  solutions.

Each client is treated as an individual and there is never a "blanket solution" applied to any household or business. Lindsay and Sam take the time to understand the needs and budget of every customer to ensure that MatSolo delivers quality solutions and personability that is unrivaled.     
Darryl is our preferred installer - we trust and rely on his team, and they are always there to install with precision and excellence. He and his lovely team are there to install neatly and on time.

Our Area of Operation

We are focused, initially, servicing the Pietermaritzburg and KZN Midlands area but plan to increase our offering to match Matelec's national footprint. 
We have already provided solutions in Pretoria, the Timbavati and Botswana
